This swimming pool was leaking through the structure and the through the overflow system. Solving this type of leak using traditional methods would have required the pool to be completely reconstructed. This would have been a costly, lengthy and messy project.

Fortunately PiscinaLiner and the RENOLIT AlkorPlan family of products came to the rescue, curing the leak and totally renovating the pool in 7 days, at a much more economical price than the total reconstruction.

The leaks in the pool had been identified as a horizontal crack where the overflow connected to the pool. The overflow channel was also leaking. Access to the channel was not possible, without lifting all the marble.

We took the approach of installing 3 wide mouth skimmers and eliminating the overflow system. Then we installed the Renolit AlkorPlan reinforced membrane, this guarantees that the pool will not leak through the structure.

The colour chosen is TOUCH Authentic. The dark sandy tones give a beautiful turquoise green look, perfectly fitting in with the surroundings, for a truly unique swimming pool.

If you are planning to renovate your pool, don’t leave it until the last minute, start planning during summer and carry out the work in the autumn/winter, having the work done well ahead of when you want to use the pool, no last minute stress and panic.
