Swimming pool refurbishment with liner, Torreblanca, Fuengirola, Malaga

This old swimming pool was constructed in late 70’s from concrete. There were some signs of the structure seeping / leaking, as there were damp patches and some algae on the visible walls. The main reason for the works, was because the tiles were falling off the pool walls.

With a sudden change in temperature, the tiles popped off on one wall, which created a weakness, leading to the tiles falling off on 2 walls of the pool.

We stripped off the tiles that hadn’t fallen off on these walls and then rendered them smooth.

We built new steps into the pool and installed a light and a hand rail.

This complete renovation took 4 days, including building the steps and rendering the walls.

The material used here was Persia Blue from the Renolit AlkorPlan 3000 range. Renolit is a Multinational German company, with their waterproofing materials made in Barcelona.
