This large community pool was poorly built and the structure has cracked in several places.  Attempts at repairs had been made but unsuccessfully. The repair of cracks in a swimming pool is rarely successful. In this case, some of the cracks had been repaired repeatedly. The swimming pool was leaking so badly that it could not be kept filled.

The solution was clear. The architect specified that a Renolit AlkorPlan liner should be installed, because of its high strength and flexibility, ensuring that the pool will be water proof. GUARANTEED.

For a project of this size, it is important to use an entity with a proven track record and the resources to complete the pool works in a timely manner.

The first stage in the installation of a liner is replace the fittings, such as the skimmers, jets, drains and lights with liner compatible units. In this case the complete skimmer buckets have been changed, as there was good access because of the building works next door. Once the new skimmers, lights, jets and drains are in place, the liner can begin to be installed.

The PVC pool membrane is reinforced with fibres, making it ideal for waterproofing leaking or cracked swimming pools. The PVC membrane is heat welded into place on site, so it can be adapted to fit virtually any shape of swimming pool.

Commercial, hotel and urbanisation swimming pool liners are no problem for our installation teams. Renovations to community pools can only normally be carried out in WINTER unless by prior arrangement.
