FAQ
Why Renolit AlkorPlan
Renolit AlkorPlan is a reinforced membrane, not a thin “kit” liner, it’s more than twice as thick, backed with polyester fibre, and welded on site into one continuous, watertight skin. It’s the material used in Europe’s leading commercial pools, hotels and water parks, and it’s been the standard pool finish across the continent since the 1970s.
10 years guaranteed
Every AlkorPlan installation carries Renolit’s 10-year watertight guarantee – and liners routinely last 20 to 30 years in service. The guarantee transfers with the property, so it adds resale value as well as peace of mind. Cracks in the pool shell underneath can open sgnificantly with no effect on the liner itself.
Why work with us
We install one thing: reinforced pool liners. No tiling side-jobs, no filters and pumps to split our attention, just AlkorPlan, installed to Renolit’s standard, authorised across Spain and Portugal since 2002 and Portugal since 2010.
That focus is deliberate: it’s what makes every installation consistent. Our team is Renolit-qualified, bilingual in English and Spanish, and small enough that the people who quote your job are the people who install it.
How long does an install takes?
1 to 3 days, start to finish, timing it right. Our team arrives to an empty pool, ideally drained at least a week beforehand, so water has time to clear the structure, and works entirely from inside it, with minimal disruption to patios or surroundings.
When to book
Book for autumn or winter and you avoid both the wait and the cost: summer heat inside a pool slows the work, so late spring and summer installations can carry up to a 15% supplement (we don’t work in August at all).
