We find many pools that have been poorly built. Often pools have been built from blocks with no reinforcing and then tiled. This method of construction will always fail. The installation of the liner for a swimming pool like this takes between 2 and 3 days, with very little mess. The first stage is to break out the existing fittings, such as the pool lights, jets, drain etc and install liner compatible fittings. Liner fittings a series of screws to hold the liner in place and make a waterproof seal. These stainless steel screws are then hidden under a cosmetic cover. After this, the top profile is fixed into place, just below the pool surround. The walls are installed first, then the floor afterwards.

The project took around 5 days, a day to prepare the walls, as there were some very uneven parts, then another day to install the new skimmers, drain, jets and lights, then 3 days to install the membrane.

The cracks in the pool structure need no other treatment than to make them smooth. In the photos you can see the water coming back into the pool through the cracks.
