This lovely swimming pool is set in the terrace of a the lovely Villa La Jax, in the old town of Albufeira on the Algarve in Portugal.

The villa is used as a holiday home, for both the owners and the rental guests. Using a pool for holiday rentals means that the pool needs to be as low maintenance as possible. The smooth nature and guaranteed waterproofing of a reinforced pool liner gives this peace of mind.

We also installed AstralPool LED lighting, which has a very long life and low energy consumption, meaning that the rental guests won’t be able to waste too much electric if they leave the pool lights on all night. The par 56 bulb uses around 27w opposed to 300w for a traditional light.

A Certikin CTX salt chlorinator was also fitted, again aiding the maintenance of the pool.

The liner specified for this pool is the popular Persia Blue from the Renolit AlkorPlan 3000 range. It is a very thick membrane, reinforced with polyester fibres, guaranteeing waterproofing and giving a great looking finish.
